Ezine Articles list the six surefire ways to get your website indexed by Google within 7 days. Many people say that it takes about 4-6 weeks for Google and other Search Engines like Yahoo and MSN to index you into their systems.
But I had a very sweet experience in this regard.
Can you believe, I achieved it within flat 27 Hrs. (Yes 27 Hrs.). In fact I had submitted this blog to Google, Yahoo and MSN on 28.4.07 at about 1700 Hrs. (IST) and on the very next day at about 2030 Hrs. I was on their list (sweet).
Let me list the things which I did in these 27 Hrs. (may be that had contributed to this feast)
- Claimed by blog to Technorati.
- Left Comments on three popular blogs, which get updated frequently.
- Linked a post to Google Blog.
- Got listed at five Blog Directories (first five in my left sidebar).
- Wrote one post on Google Desktop.
- Pinged all services with Ping-o-matic and Pingoat.
- ...and waited silently.
