Rhinoplasty at Beverly Hills

Do you know, what is Rhinoplasty. I didn't know till I was asked to review this facility. Actually...

Rhinoplasty is cosmetic surgery of the nose. It is sometimes called a "nose job." During a rhinoplasty procedure, the shape of the nose can be changed to correct imperfections either present from birth or as the result of trauma. Rhinoplasty can improve the overall appearance of an otherwise attractive face by bringing the nose into harmony with the rest of your features.

So, where do you go for this procedure, if you consider yourself to be a candidate. There may be several clinics, but you would definitely like to a place handled by experienced persons in a professional manner. Fortunately, there is at least one such center which offers rhinoplasty in Beverly Hills.

Here it is done by two experienced surgeons with highly accomplished backgrounds.

On their website here at rhinoplasty Beverly Hills center you can find lot of information related to this highly specialized procedure, which is used not only for enhancing your beauty but also to cure and heal certain abnormalities, deformations and problems of your nose.

So if you are planning for something like Rhinoplasty then try rhinoplasty Los Angeles center.

FullerScreen | Hide your toolbars and status bar with this Mozilla Firefox add-on

We all have used the slide-show mode of Powerpoint to make the desktop full-screen. But can the browsers do that. Off-course yes, if you are using Firefox, the versatile net browser. This feature is specially useful in case you are making a presentation.

Fuller Screen | Firefox add-onYou need to download this firefox add-on and just have to press the F11 key to toggle full screen mode and normal mode. Or alternatively, you can click a special button on the extreme right of your status bar to go full screen. To return to the normal mode, just scroll your mouse to the bottom, the status bar will appear and you can easily click the normal mode button.

It also provides a slide show feature which, if you are willing to mess about with CSS and HTML a fair bit, will give you basic Powerpoint type functionality from within the browser. Quite smart.

Celebking | The prince of Celebrity videos

Recently, I got an offer to review the unique adult site CelebKings, which specializes in short clips of leading actresses, taken mainly from hollywood films. Interestingly, they give you a free temporary password for reviewing, off-course on paid basis, their members area.

I found a staggering numbers of titles there; all were great celebrities, quality video clips and movie titles. All in all, there are 7,121 video clips and 1,545 movie of as many as 2,193 top celebrities.

What I liked most

  • Categorization: Finding a particular clip or celebrity is very easy. You can choose your desired clip in several ways. You can see their alphabetic listing by Celebrity names, you can see the listing by Movie name, You can see only blondes / brunettes or busty if you so desire ; see their main menu, it is really user-friendly.
  • Description: Each video clip has a description including a profile of the actress.
  • Quality: The speed of download seems to be a bit slower as compared to YouTube, but the quality is far far superior.

The movies can be used in different formats. You can play it online in flash format or alternatively can download it to play through your windows media application, apple quicktime or ipod video.

However, one particular thing, which I noted is that the clips were short, very short - most of them being 1-3 minutes, part and were really just like snippets taken from larger movie.

All in all, I would not say that it is the best celebrity sex video site, but it is definitely worth consideration, if you have such taste.

FactSpotter | A new context based Search Engine from Xerox

If you are fed up with the process of choosing different sets of keywords in Google to get your desired results, here comes factSpotter, the Xerox's new context based semantic oriented search engine, which is now in Beta.

What does it mean: Present Search Engines including Google work on keywords. e.g. if you search for parade ground, it will also give you results like naked parade of models to baseball grounds in US. Both of which are of no use to you. But FactSpotter proposes to be intelligent enough to go much deeper into the context of the result pages to bring you only the relevant pages.

Xerox Press Release says...

  • What it is: New Xerox text mining software for service offerings is discriminating, smart and easy to use.
  • How it's different: Takes ordinary search to the next level by digging into more documents, analyzing meaning of words and context, accepting queries in everyday language.
  • Why it matters: Makes it easy to retrieve information from massive data bases in legal cases, fraud detection, drug discovery, risk management, and more.

Notenook.com | an online shopping website for notebooks and computers

It appears that Notenook.com, Yes, I am right, it is noteNook.com and not noteBook.com, is a just some sort of a gateway to search for the articles listed on ebay. The articles are only computers related. On the left sidebar of the website, you will find a list of about 25-30 links, clicking on which opens a list of the laptops and notebooks in ebay related to that keyword.

The search results can be arranged in any of the four choices like decreasing or increasing prices and two others based upon the time to expire the bidding at ebay.

The same search results are given by a drop down list given at the top of the page. No significant differences are there in the two.

Notenook.com seems to be a totally new site. When I tried to search for Notenook.com in Blog Search of Google, I could not find any entry. Even a regular google search returned only 14 entries.

The website also doesn't seem to be properly designed. There is a Sitemap link on the top, but there is virtually no sitemap found if you click on it.

There is a link to Richmond Computers in the Sponsored Links section, apperantly based in Canada, which also has the same design as Notenook.com.

The site seems to be eyeing the traffic generated with the misspelled words during the search by people. That is the only reason I could understand for somebody to name the website as notenook.com.

Although I am not very hopeful, but I wish them all success for the future. The anchor text of the website, to which I have been asked to kick with this site is notenook 2007-06-15.

Check the website, if you want to.

Veoh TV | The new webtool for turning your PC into IPTV

After the mention of the new IPTV services like Joost and Babelgum on this blog, it was very natural that the latest announced service Veoh will also be talked here. Announced this week itself, Veoh claims that the services like Joost are offering the same old concept of cable or satellite TV in a new bottle, i.e. they are changing only the media, which is now Internet. The content is still in the hands of the service provider.

On the other hand, Veoh claims that through their Veoh TV, users will be able to share their videos also to their audience or clients and this makes a different proposition altogether.

Veoh TV is being launched presently in a limited, invite-only beta that will become more widely available to the general public later this year.

A nice Color Picker for webmasters

This post is being written with a specific purpose of earning a free PR7 quality link for this blog.

This blog earlier has written a post about a nice way to determine hex / RGB color code of any pixel on your desktop. This was done through a small program named as Color Cop.

AdesBlog.com have come out with another nice color picker called AdesClrPicker.

This tool also has a powerful picker, which you can drag to any pixel on your screen and it will fetch you the color code of that pixel. The library, where your color codes are stored is better than Color Cop. o

We all know that paypal today has become the most trusted name for online money transfer and provided a safe way of transactions to millions, who were hesitant to reveal their credit card information on web. Virtually, every online purchase store worth its mettle now accepts paypal payments.

YouTube videos may be injurious to your PC health

I recently came across an article at Websense, which indicates the potential use of YouTube videos downloaded onto your PC for installing malware and viruses.

When you download and run an application file, cleverly disguised as a video file, your browser opens a video but in the background it also connects to its another webserver, which uploads a few Trojan Horses in to your machine with the primary objective of stealing your valuable information.

Websense has also upoladed a video about it on YouTube here.

Use Embiggen to expand tinyURL

We all know how useful is tinyURL, the service which shorten any URL to manageable limits.
But every good things comes packaged with bad things. So is here.
The drawback of tinyURL is that the person clicking it doesn't know beforehand where is he being led to. See Lifehacker's observation on it.

Embiggen is a useful tool, which you can use to expand any tinyURL to know what is hidden beneath it. Publishers / Bloggers and browsers can use it in different ways.

  • Publishers / Bloggers: They can insert a code into their template, which will give you a button on your page.As soon as the visitors on your page click this button, all the tinyURLs on this page will expand for his convenience.
  • Browsers / Surfers: They can create a bookmarklet on their Bookmark toolbar and click it to expand the tinyURLs on a page.

The week that was (1) | My 4 beloved postings

I have been blogging for more than about one and a half month and learnt a lot in this period. One of the basic things I noted that many of your posts, which you think are a gem, go unnoticed sometimes. One method of bringing them to limelight again is to revisit them after some time, especially those which are still relevant.

With this view, I am starting a series of posts, in which I will choose my 4 posts from a week in the previous month.

Here are my picks from Week 3 of May 2005.

  1. Free webtools: Firefox add-on for webpage acess through Cellphones

  2. Free webtools search: Synchronize Google Calendar with cellphone

  3. Free webtools: Control remote computer from your desktop

  4. Free webtools: Speed up Mozilla firefox

SearchStatus | A firefox add-on or an alternative to Alexa Toolbar for IE

Do you use Firefox and still wanna reap the benefits of using Alexa Toolbar for increasing your Alexa Rankings ? Read on...

We all know, well I presume so, Alexa toolbar is available for Internet Explorer users only. So what do we, the firefox users, do. SearchStatus, a firefox add-on is probably the alternative.
In fact, SearchStatus is actually meant for providing you the site's various rankings in one go. It provides you information like PageRank, Alexa Ranks, and Compete.com Ranks. You can also check the Alexa incoming links, Alexa related links and many backward links from Google.

Besides all this, the download page of SearchStatus also mentions that
SearchStatus users form part of the panel of toolbar users that contribute towards Alexa statistics.

I don't know how far it is true because the Alexa website doesn't mention anything about it.

But it is for sure, that for the last three weeks or so, I have witnessed an unprecedented increase in my Alexa Rankings after installing SearchStatus.

Voice Pay | Online payment system based upon voice

Internet is growing and so is e-commerce and online payments. But the biggest threat, phishing or frauds, to online payments still looms large.

Voice Pay is the latest method for online payment based upon voice recognition, where your voice acts as a verification tool instead of a PIN or chip. On every payment order, you have to enter you PIN vocally, your speech components are analyzed and compared with the sample given by you at the time of the registration of the service. On authorization, the transaction is completed.

They claim that the technology works everywhere, “ in a shop, on a train, on TV, in a newspaper and on-line”. But definitely it will have its limitation in case of poor signal or voice quality.

Let's see, how far does the system goes.

How not to speed up mozilla firefox | Disable Link Prefetching

Link Prefetching is a Firefox feature which allows it to pre-load all the links on the current webpage being browsed. The purpose of it is to load the next page clicked by you a bit faster. Know more about link fetching here.Although a nice feature for faster browsing, it sometimes is counter-productive especially for those who pay to their ISP on a pay-per-byte basis. They may like to consider disabling this feature of Firefox so as to save on the bytes transferred. But how ?

Here is how...

You just have to type about:config into the address bar, and scroll down to ‘network.prefetch-next’; double click on it to set the boolean value to false.

Free Webtools: Two cool Mozilla firefox add-ons

One of the reasons, although their are plenty, for Mozilla firefox spreading fast is its being open-source, i.e. it allows you to download hundreds of extensions to strengthen your browsing power. Two such extensions are mentioned below.

1.Cooliris Previews

Many times, before clicking a link, you wanna know, what will be found ahead. Install Cooliris and after that if you hover your mouse over a link a small blue icon appears. Clicking on the icon opens a new window which shows a preview of the page and you can decide whether you want to go there or not. Just like snapup. There are several options available in the pop-up window.

2. Firefox Showcase

It overcomes the Firefox's shortcoming of thumbnail views in case of .tabbed browsing. Once you install the extension, you get various options for displaying tabs in thumbnails.c
